I'm 46 and divorced for a little over two years now, but was separated for two years prior. I'm starting a new chapter in my life, and I'm looking for someone to share it with. I've kind of given up meeting someone in my everday life...everyone that I seem to meet is either married, too young for me, or has a girlfriend. So, I've decided to give online dating a try. I'm easy going. I smile a lot and I like to laugh and enjoy myself. I'm not high strung, and I believe in maintaining a relatively relaxing, peaceful lifestyle...or at least as much as the stresses of everyday life will permit.



I'm a natural born nurturer. I have a big heart with a lot of love to give, and I love romance...both creating a romantic moment and being the recipient of a romantic gesture. I'm thoughtful, generous, compassionate, honest, loyal, faithful and intelligent. I enjoy cooking and baking when I have the time and am a fairly good cook. I love the water, and the beach is my very favorite place to go for vacation or relaxation.



I love to read, but I've become very fond of audio books these days. I love watching movies, and my favorite date is to go out for dinner and a movie. I love to dance, and I love music. If I'm cooking, you might catch me dancing to the music on my Pandora. I love rock, both classic and the newer stuff. Some of my favorite newer bands are Imagine Dragons, Avenged Sevenfold, AWOL Nation, Linkin Park, Seether, Foo Fighters, Evanescence, Hinder, Puddle of Mudd, Three Days Grace and Nickelback...although that is certainly a very small list of what I listen to!



I have a passion for crossfit and I workout 3-4 times a week and have been doing so for the last 2 years. Crossfit has made me strong not only physically but mentally. I never imagined lifting weight like this or doing any physical activity like this, and it has given me a mental toughness and empowered me in a way that keeps me coming back for more!



I never really enjoyed working out until I discovered crossfit, and now I'm in the best shape of my life! I'm health conscious, but I believe in moderation, so I eat healthy about 80-90% of the time, but do allow myself to indulge when the time is right.



I always try to keep an open mind. I'm fairly independent, capable, and confident in who I am, what I want and where I want to go.



I love to try new things, and I will try just about anything once. If I don't like it, I won't do it again. I love to learn and never want to stop learning or stop growing as a person.



Family is important to me, and it is important to me to find someone who shares that value.



I am somewhat shy, but once I get to know you I really open up. And when that happens, I can be playful, flirtatious and sexy when the occasion is right.
