I am looking for somebody to spend time with, someone that enjoys music, movies, good TV shows. I like to snow ski and take walks in the outdoors. I enjoy seeing new places, meeting new people and experiencing new things. Concerts, festivals, garage sales, lakes, rivers, and the open road are places I enjoy. Staying home and making a nice meal for my date and kicking back to watch a good movie or sporting event (football, basketball) or enjoying a nice day (or night) out on my covered patio are also ways I like to have fun.

I am in the music business. My band celebrates our 40th anniversary this year. The band's latest recording was done in my commercial home recording studio, which is also my day job. I also book entertainment for fairs and festivals.

My house, in Raytown, is a four bedroom, three bathroom ranch and a half with a living room, dining room, breakfast room, kitchen and family room. The basement is my recording studio where I also rehearse my band. The house is completely paid for and I've had a lot of work done on it to make it a safe, comfortable place to live.

I love all kinds of music...country, rock, blues, bluegrass, reggae, r&b, jazz, classical, and folk are my favorites. I also like all kinds of movies and TV...drama, comedy, action, documentaries, news programs and sports.

I'm a liberal Democrat humanist. I was a delegate to the Missouri Democratic Convention in 2008. So, I'm looking for a like-minded person to keep the arguments to a minimum.

I like to laugh a lot and I enjoy getting others to laugh, especially from the stage. So, I'm looking for someone with a good sense of humor and a reasonably thick skin.

I don't drink, do drugs, smoke tobacco or eat too much junk. Before breakfast, I go to the gym to get the heart pumping and the lungs working and the limbs moving. I plan to live, love and celebrate every day for as long as I can. If dating turns serious, I want to know my partner believes in taking care of her body so that we can enjoy these last decades together as free of health problems as possible.
