| I Would Describe Myself As | I am currently slightly less fit than I'd like to be. I enjoy good food of most cuisines just too much (Not quite a foodie, but trying) and exercise a bit too little. My idea of sports is firmly set in the middle ages. Archery and fencing. I believe in trust, friendship, and shared interests are key to a good relationship. Intelligence and a healthly sense of humor are turnons. I've never been able to tell if I enjoy the journey more than the destination or not. I do know I happily enjoy watching animals, and wandering out in the wilderness, but actually camping draws little pleasure. Give me a soft bed and a hot shower at the end of the journey. I'm a bit of a loner. Extremely shy up until someone draws me out with a topic I'm really interested in. I enjoy small groups of people to draw my energy, but in a press of a crowd I just sort of shut down. I can however easily shift modes and drop a mask in place to talk in front of an audience when giving a lecture or talking on a panel at a convention. Books thrill and entertain me. I'm a writer and editor in the fields of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. And I had worked in the library industry for over a decade. The things that interest me most are books, movies, and going to museums. I'm thrilled by learning more about history and immersing myself if any culture. I enjoy giving massages. |
