| I Would Describe Myself As | I'm really chuffed I found this website as I always felt I was far too much of an oddball for generic dating websites! As a geek I prefer the company of other geeks. I would describe myself as being shy if I meet someone and we seem different but if we have geeky interests in common then I'll instantly come out of my shell and we'll have loads to talk about. I'm orginally from the North West but have just moved back to Portsmouth (I lived here a few years ago and love Hampshire). My geeky interests are mainly cinema, video games, autograph collecting and I go to conventions like Comic Cons etc. I have about 200 autographs. I love reading too and I'm currently writing my first fantasy novel (it's not great but I'm enjoying the experience). I work as an assistant psychologist in adult mental health and hope that doesn't put anyone off if they think I am constantly analysing people... it's not the case! I do find people really interesting though and I'm really passionate about my job. I also adore my pet African Pygmy Hedgehogs, Heidi and Gus. :) I love exotic pets and wish I had more of them. |
