I can be a talker; sometimes ridiculous, lots of energy. Looking for a new friend who is as curious about the world as I am.

I like to investigate things and have multiple interests, mostly non-ordinary and non-local: metaphysics, the stars, humans and other mysterious things.

Also, I'm a writer, editor, college instructor and other stuff. Have been a horse breeder, bartender, banker, helicopter bunky, lifelong student of multiple disciplines and varied schools of thought, substitute teacher, and other things I can't even remember. My top achievement are my two kids, but they came bundled with so many cool traits, I can't take much credit there. They are beautiful creatures.

From a big, loving family, I'm third of five kids. You'll find me honest, normal, crazy-sometimes, happy/busy. Independent, low-maintenance, "recovered," but still a little quirky. I'm more a "big picture" person than a "detail" type. I'm very curious about things, big and small. I like to learn just about anything, and while I can be bookish and thinky, I'm goofy most of the time.

I'm dear, dear friends with my ex. So, I don't want to sound rude here, but nervous, jealous guys need not apply. My life is super fabulous.
