Hi my name is Cory, I have MD and am in a wheelchair. But even though I am not able to walk it doesn’t mean I can’t live a normal life. I do not really fall into any stereotypes most think about people like me. I have experienced many things in my life and I am very philosophical because of those experiences. I want to show the world that there are people with disabilities out there that can lead normal lives. As I've gotten older, I have a greater understanding of how the world around us affects us all. I believe that I can change how most think about people like me. I find it very sad that many people will not give somebody like me a chance because of their situation. I want to open people’s eyes to see things the way I see the world. Our world is such a beautiful place, but most will never get to experience its true beauty.

Many people can’t seem to comprehend what purpose their life should entail. You are given one life and instead of loathing it, embrace it. Everyone tries to figure out the true meaning of life, but I believe I may have found it. It is an ever so simple meaning; it involves compassion and love for all living things, not hate. Closed mindedness and ignorance are a few of things that cause hatred and discrimination. It’s sad to know that people are so petty to dislike others for their beliefs or how they look. Most of humanity needs to be awoken to the fact that everyone is different, but that shouldn’t make you hate them. What we need to do is give everyone the freedom to live their life the way they see fit and not judge them for it. Doing this could actually bring peace to the world.

I use to be completely scared to tell others of my condition but I believe being honest to others let’s me be honest to myself. To embrace myself will let others embrace me in my beautiful wonderment. The depth of one’s soul is who we are nothing less or nothing more. I all want is to find the woman whose soul is complementary to mine. The reason I am showing you my true thoughts and beliefs is to prove I am different from almost all other men. Not because of my disability but through my soul my truest self is shown.

I am a bit shy at first, but warm up quickly once you get to know me. I am here to find a serious relationship and possibly my soul mate. You will not find many guys like me; I want to be connected with my mate’s soul and mind before anything else. My family and friends are very important to me; I have the utmost respect for them. Being kind to everyone I meet is very important. Music, art, and nature are a big part of my life. I am very carefree, easygoing and optimistic. I love to laugh and I am told I’m very humorous. I believe that everyone should be honest with each other. I have great compassion and love for the world. I chose to see the good in people, because I was raised that way. I am also in the early planning stages of starting my own business. I have been learning the Japanese language and I hope to be fluent one day. I’d like to learn other Asian languages. To find a teacher so I can get better at Japanese. I find Asian culture very beautiful, intriguing, and amazing.
