My husband passed away two years ago after we were married for 44 years. I didn't really want to get married as young as I did (I was 19) but I found the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

I'm in a good place in my life now. I'm retired, stress-free, and happy and fulfilled. I have lots of friends and two wonderful grown children. But I miss having romance and companionship in my life.

Being outside in the sunshine makes me happy and I enjoy traveling, especially cruising.
I love to laugh and have a good sense of humor. Hope you do, too. I'm young at heart and still feel like a teenager. I'm totally easygoing. Member of Mensa. I am kind, sensitive, loving and romantic.

My photos are very recent but I have lost a little weight since they were taken and my hair is now shoulder length.

I was in Times Square in NYC last New Year's Eve and watched the ball drop (12/31/12). It was something I'll never forget, but will probably never do again.

I'm a liberal Democrat. If you are not into politics that is okay, but if you are a Republican or a Tea Party member, don't bother contacting me, as we probably won't be happy having such different points of view.
